Pooch-Perfect Amenities & Accommodations

Our dog boarding facility in New Braunfels, TX has a lot to offer, with amenities and accommodations including:

  • Spacious, climate-controlled boarding suites for dogs of all sizes
  • State-of-the-art tempered glass kennels so your pet has a clear view of their surroundings

  • Raised food and water bowls to aid digestion for larger dogs
  • At least 4 potty breaks and play times* per day
  • 2-3 mealtimes per day, depending on your pet’s needs
  • Administering medication to your pet (if needed)

Should I Bring My Dog’s Food from Home?

We strongly recommend bringing your pet’s regular food from home to prevent GI upset. However, we can provide them with a palatable bland diet if necessary, at an additional cost.

What Your Pup Needs to Board with Us

To ensure a healthy stay at our dog boarding facility, your pup needs to be up to date with the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies
  • DHLPP
  • Canine Bordetella (every 6 months)
  • Canine Influenza

We also require a negative fecal test within the last 12 months.

Our trained staff are equipped to accommodate moderate behavioral issues such as shyness, nervousness, food aggression, and mild dog aggression. However, to ensure the safety of our kennel attendants and other boarders, Comal Pet Hospital & Resort reserves the right to refuse boarding or day care services to pets that might create dangerous situations.

Dogs or cats with a history of biting will not be allowed to board at Comal Pet Hospital & Resort. You are required to disclose any behavioral issues or problems of your pet at the time of check-in. Aggression towards people is not tolerated. If our kennel attendants are unable to manage your pet, your emergency contact will be asked to pick up the pet within the same business day.
